There is no central Doctor Manager account for patients. Each practice that uses Doctor Manager gives you its own access to its patient area. So you delete your access practice by practice: deleting your access at one practice does not affect your access at other practices.
Two ways, whichever you prefer.
On iPhone, and on Android as soon as the app is released. You need to be connected to the Internet. The practice disappears from the app and a confirmation e-mail is sent to you.
Note: « Remove from this iPhone » only removes the practice from this phone. Your access stays open on your other devices.
Ask your practice, at the front desk or by phone: it can close your access at any time.
Or write to us at hello@doctormanager.be, with your name and the name of your practice. We pass your request on to the practice concerned without delay: the practice, which is responsible for your data, closes your access.
Do not send any medical information by e-mail.
For that practice, on all your devices.
Doctor Manager backups are kept for 6 months at most: what has been erased then disappears from them too.
Deleting your access does not erase your medical record.
It stays with your practice, with the shared documents and what the practice has taken from what you sent. The law requires the practice to keep it for at least 30 years and at most 50 years after your last contact with it (article 35 of the Belgian law of 22 April 2019 on the quality of healthcare practice).
Sign-ins, documents opened, devices added or removed, and the closing of your access. It is kept for 12 months for security, then erased automatically.
Removed devices stay registered, deactivated, as proof of who had access and of which device signed a document, for as long as the practice keeps your record.
